Nashville 8/17/00 - 8/16/13Nash you were a spitfire who met your match with me. Your personality brought you many admirers, and you changed the hearts and minds of many dog haters (including your own grandmother, who is deathly afraid of dogs!) :)
And all the adventures we had...long walks, especially those by restaurants, where the children dining outside shouted "Carl come over here" and Nash, lured by the yummy smells, happily trotted over, ready to accept any name, as long as he could lick the hands of the children...the uncontested Grand Champion of the "bobbing for hot dog" contest at the annual RR picnic....meeting J, his younger "brother" and asking me, "Mom can we keep this one? The others always have to go home."
Nash, you overcame every obstacle life gave you and, in doing so, taught every person who met you about determination, strength, love and loyalty. You have left a hole in our hearts and our lives that can never be replaced.
Thank you to Barb and Patti for trusting us with Nash. Our lives, and the lives of others that he touched, were changed for the better. He saved us as much as we saved him.
Fly free Nash, may the arthritis that crippled you disappear. May you run and jump to your heart's content until we meet again.

Sam was adopted on July 25, 2005 at 6 months and passed on June 12, 2012 at 8 years of age.
A fighter to the end, a master swimmer, a tennis ball lover, a child protector, a vet's dream patient, an international traveler welcomed in the top hotels with open arms, a mind of his own, and most importantly a trusting and loving dog devoted to his family and friends.
You are gone for now, never to be forgotten. We will "see you in ten minutes" little dude.

I really thought that no other Rottie could top my Morgan, but then I met Tilly. Her friendly nature and calm disposition won over everyone that met her. She was only with me for three short years and I was so blessed to be her companion. Tilly was such a good, sweet girl and I know she's having a great time sniffing out and exploring new spots while Morgan is running circles around her. Rest in peace sweet Tilly. I love you.
